Wetlands and Waders
This tour will focus on finding waders on passage dropping in to some of Norfolk and the UK’s most iconic reserves - RSPB Titchwell and NWT Cley & Salthouse Marshes. We will visit these and other wetlands where we will also find breeding and resident waders.
The species we will be looking for include:
- Little and Temminck’s Stints,
Wood, Green and Curlew Sandpipers and rarer species such as White-rumped and Pectoral Sandpipers, - We should also see more common wader species including Black and Bar-tailed Godwits, Avocets, Dunlins, Red Knot and other waders and
- Wetland birds such as Spoonbills and Bitterns.
We can also expect to see other migrants and breeding birds.
