Spring Migration and Special Residents
This day tour will see us exploring North and East Norfolk predominantly looking for Spring Migrants such as
- Red-backed Shrike, Ring Ouzel, and Bluethroat for example, with the possibility of finding a Golden Oriole or Rose-coloured Starling on passage.
We should also see:
- Dotterels, returning warblers, Wheatears, Whinchat and possibly an early Wryneck – obviously our favourite bird(!), and potentially spend some time looking for Goshawks and Honey Buzzards,
- Hawfinches, Crossbills and Bramblings,
- Common Cranes,
- Raptors including Hen Harrier and Merlin.
