Seawatching - Shearwaters, Skuas and Petrels

We will spend a morning seawatching on the North Norfolk coast in the company of fellow enthusiasts looking for special seabird species passing by, with the possibility of seeing some great birds including:

  • Arctic, Great, Pomarine and Long-tailed Skuas,
  • Shearwaters including Manx, Balearic, Cory’s and if we’re very lucky, Great Shearwaters,
  • Leach’s and European Storm Petrels,
  • Rare Grebe species and Divers,
  • We should also see Kittiwakes, Fulmars and possibly Sabine’s Gulls and Little Auks (late Autumn) as well as passing waders and duck species.

What we will see will be largely weather dependent so we will aim to time the tours accordingly and you will need warm clothing and waterproofs!

The half-day will cost £40 pp but we can extend it to a full day by spending the afternoon looking for migrants if there any rarities present along the coast.
