A day on the spectacular North Norfolk Coast
This tour focuses on the north coast in some of the most beautiful scenery Norfolk has to offer, exploring beaches, saltmarsh, lakes and lagoons where we will search for:
- Rare winter visitors including Shore Larks, Snow Buntings and Lapland Buntings,
- Scarce sea ducks, Grebes, Divers and other special seabirds,
- Bewick’s and Whooper Swans and visiting Pink-footed, White-fronted and Bean Geese, with the possibility of finding a Red-breasted Goose or Black Brant,
- Wintering raptor species including Hen Harrier, Rough-legged Buzzard, Merlin and possibly Pallid Harrier as well as Short-eared Owls.
Winter in Norfolk can be magical. Whilst it can also be rather cold of course, it is our favourite time of year to be out birding in Norfolk.
